Geography and Climate
This region has the best geography and climate in the country. Why? First, the climate is moderate, with mild winters. What can be better? Next, the rivers, Here, you will find wide, deep ones like the Delaware, Maurice, and the Allegheny Rivers. They also have coastal lowlands and bays. Finally, the Appalachian Highlands go through the west of the Middle Colonies. The climate is good for farming, and it is easy to predict when the right time is. You can also be outdoors a lot. That is how you get your groceries. Market Towns! The towns are close together, but not so you feel like sardines. You feel comfortable, and free. In fact, this region attracts so many diversed religions and lifestyles. The villages and cities are put this way because there is enough time during the year to be outside. The land here is not too good for lumber, or raw materials, so that is where the trading comes in. It is great for grain, and livestock. There are enough harbors for fishing, too!
